Too much on screen? Connie’s sidebars now fold away so your projects, contracts and documents get the full width. Your setup is remembered.
You open a contract on your laptop. There’s a menu on the left. A details panel on the right. And somewhere in the middle, the thing you actually came to look at.
Sound familiar?
Busy screens are a fact of working life. Everything you need is there, which is great. But not all of it at the same time.
Why screen space matters
Contracts are detail work. You scan a clause, check a name, look at a date. Every bit of space you lose makes that harder.
Most of us don’t have a giant monitor on every desk. On a laptop, on a train, at a production office with a borrowed screen, width is precious. And when you’re trying to focus, a screen full of menus is just more noise.
So the best thing a menu can do is get out of the way when you don’t need it.
What’s new in Connie
Both sidebars in Connie are now collapsible.
The menu on the left. Click the arrows next to the logo and it folds into a slim icon rail. Your navigation is still there, just much smaller.
The details panel on the right. It tucks away just as easily.
What’s left is your actual work. Projects, contracts and documents, at the full width of your screen.
It remembers
Here’s the small detail we like most. Connie remembers your choices, so each screen stays the way you left it. Fold the menu on your contracts view, and it stays folded. Keep the details panel open somewhere else, and it stays open. No need to set it up again every time you come back.
When you’ll want to use it
A busy view. Lots of columns, lots of information? Collapse both and give it room.
Time to focus. You’re reviewing a contract and want nothing else on screen.
A smaller screen. On a laptop, the extra width makes a real difference.
Showing something to someone. Sharing your screen in a meeting? A cleaner view looks better too.
Go have a look
Open your next busy view and click the arrows next to the logo. Then try the details panel on the right. See how much room you get back. And if there’s something else that gets in your way on screen, tell us. We love to hear your feedback.
